About Us

Our
Prospects
Within the next five years, BHF envisages working more intensely to reach and impart knowledge to at least 20,000 people within the remote areas of the Buea subdivision on matters concerning their health, especially on Sexual and reproductive health and non-communicable diseases, thus helping the people make informed decisions about their health and make lifestyle changes which will reduce mortality rate and enhance living. This is to contribute to the achievement of SDG 3 and Agenda 2063 Goal 3.
Also, BHF envisages working to empower at least 600 youths in skill acquisition and leadership through a need-based mentoring and educational system.
Again, she intends to work to assist at least 1,000 orphans and needy children in their formal education at all levels (basic, secondary and tertiary); a means to contribute to the achievement of SDG 4 and Agenda 2063 Goal 18.
Also, she works to empower at least 500 women in the areas of economic and financial stability, all in a bid to contribute to the achievements of SDG 5 and Agenda 2063 Goal 17.
The people of BHF are committed to seeing a healthier population, especially women, youths and older adults, educated and leading youths and women for a brighter future for the communities and nation at large.
