About Us
BHF works passionately to disseminate accurate information on Sexual and reproductive health and Non-communicable diseases, facilitating the youths and older populations to take informed decisions about their health and make lifestyle modifications which will lessen mortality rate and enhance living via health outreaches and sensitization campaigns in which free talks, screenings and sensitization are carried out on conditions such as; Heart Diseases (Strokes, Heart attacks), cancers (especially breast cancer), Diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other STIs etc. So far, these have been done at village communities, secondary and higher institutions, and traditional and religious groups.
Also, BHF is on its way to empowering at least 600 youths and 500 women with economic and leadership skills, at least 1000 orphans and needy children with their formal educational needs such as fees, uniforms etc., for them to become professionals through a need-based mentoring and educational system in a bid to contribute in the achievement of Agenda 2063 and SDG Goals.
The people of BHF are committed to seeing a healthier population, especially older adults, educated and leading youths and women for a brighter future for the communities and nation.
